SUMMARY

The Fleet Manager will coordinate with field managers and leadership to ensure fleet compliance mandated by FMCSA and manage the companies GPS tracking program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure fleet compliance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Manage our Samsara program. Ensuring gateway installed and maintained on fleet and other equipment. Monitory Samsara daily to ensure fleet and driver safety and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure fleet compliance and gateway health of our Samsara units.
  • Conduct audits at facility locations for compliance with FMCSA driver files and equipment.
  • Keep Senior Leadership informed of fleet and Samsara compliance.
  • Provide weekly report to operations regarding fleet and driver compliance.
  • Be proficient in the use of Word, Power Point and Excel computer programs, televisions, digital & single lens reflex cameras, multi-media projectors, and computers for course deliveries.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS COMPETENCIES

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Organizational Skills .
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. This position may be required to work beyond a 40 hour work week.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel is expected for this position.
