The Russo Brothers and AGBO have generated more than $7 billion at the global box office, including Avengers: Endgame. The studio's projects include Academy Award-winning Everything Everywhere All at Once, Netflix hits The Gray Man and Extraction, and Prime Video's visceral thriller The Bluff and the global Citadel franchise. Citadel Season 2 premieres in May 2026.

AGBO is currently in production with Netflix on Tygo and Mercenary, both part of the Extraction universe, as well as with Lionsgate on John Rambo, a prequel to the iconic franchise. The studio is in post-production on The Whisper Man, starring Robert De Niro, and Avengers: Doomsday, which will be released December 18, 2026. AGBO will begin shooting Avengers: Secret Wars later this year. Both upcoming Avengers films are directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and co-produced by AGBO and Marvel Studios.

Position Summary:
AGBO is seeking a Senior Cinematic Layout Artist to help bring our in-game cinematics to life with strong staging, camera work, and visual storytelling. In this role, you'll take narrative beats and previs direction and translate them into polished, emotionally resonant scenes using Unreal Engine's Sequencer. You'll work closely with animation, lighting, and narrative teams to ensure every shot serves the story and meets AAA production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and refine cinematic sequences in Unreal Engine using Sequencer, establishing shot composition, camera blocking, and pacing
  • Translate previs, storyboards, and narrative direction into polished in-engine cinematic layouts
  • Frame and animate cameras to support storytelling intent, emotional beats, and gameplay context
  • Collaborate with animators, lighting artists, and designers to ensure cohesive scene composition
  • Apply a strong eye for lighting, blocking, and detail to elevate the visual quality of each cinematic
  • Understand Blueprints at a general level to support cinematic setup, triggers, and sequence logic
  • Iterate on shots based on director and creative feedback across multiple review passes
  • Maintain consistency in cinematic quality and pacing across the project

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, particularly Sequencer
  • Proven experience working on cinematic animation for video games
  • General working knowledge of Blueprints
  • Solid understanding of camera framing, composition, and cinematic language
  • A strong eye for lighting, staging and visual detail
  • Ability to take direction and iterate quickly across multiple feedback rounds
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with animation and narrative teams
  • Portfolio demonstrating cinematic layout, camera work, or in-game cinematic sequences
