Job description

Job Title: Live Sports Card Break Host (Voice of the Show, High-Energy, Whatnot) โ€“ Build Your Brand
Company: Mount Olympus Rips
Location: Plymouth, MN | On-Site Only
Shift: Evening / Night Shift | 5:30pmโ€“2:00am
Compensation: $50 per hour + tips | Top hosts run 6โ€“8 breaks per night | High earners $100k+ per year

Mount Olympus Rips is looking for the voice of the show. Not just someone to open packs, but someone who can carry energy for hours, hit after hit, break after break.

This is not a sit-back role. This is not quiet ripping. This is big hit reactions, nonstop talking, controlling the room, and keeping the energy high from the first pack to the last card of the night.

You are the voice, the pace, and the personality behind the stream. You donโ€™t need to be the face on camera. You need to be the one driving the moment, calling the hits, building hype, and keeping people locked in.

If youโ€™ve watched We The Hobby, Backyard Breaks, The Players Club, Debut Sports, or Tru Pullz and thought, I could run that energy for hours, this is your shot.

Our streams run late. The rooms get loud. The hits get massive. The expectation is simple.
No dead air. No drop in energy. No missed moments.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Be the voice behind live breaks on Whatnot, running the show from start to finish.
  • Deliver high-energy reactions on big hits, case hits, 1/1s, and chases.
  • Keep chat engaged with banter, sports talk, callouts, and constant interaction.
  • Maintain fast pace and flow across 6โ€“8 breaks per night.
  • Build hype, drive bids, and create a show people come back to every night.
  • Stay sharp on players, products, releases, and market trends.
  • Work with a backend team so you can stay locked in on entertainment and performance.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Elite energy and stamina. You can talk, react, and perform for hours.
  • Someone who thrives controlling the room and being โ€œonโ€ all night.
  • Strong knowledge of NFL, NBA, MLB cards, parallels, and big chases.
  • A competitive personality that wants to be the best on stream.
  • Experience in streaming, sales, hosting, or entertainment is a major plus.
  • Comfortable working nights in a fast-paced, high-pressure studio.

Why Mount Olympus Rips

  • You are the voice of the show, not background talent.
  • Earn $300โ€“$400 per night + tips with real upside.
  • Opportunity to make $100k+ annually performing at a high level.
  • Be part of a fast-growing Whatnot breaking brand.
  • Build your name and reputation in the hobby.
  • Join a team that treats breaking as entertainment, not just product.
