Position Summary
This position will serve as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator within the Epidemiology Research Team (ERT) North Carolina Lung Cancer Screening Registry Group in the Radiology Department. The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator assists with the execution of study protocols, including screening and recruiting study participants, conducting study visits, and collecting, entering, and reviewing study data.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a research setting, knowledge of medical terminology, or prior work with medical record systems.
  • In addition to Excel skills, basic proficiency in SAS or other statistical software is preferred.
  • Experience presenting data clearly and familiarity with medical terminology or medical records systems, with preference for those that have used Epic and REDCap.
