Job Summary:Under the supervision of the Non-Athletic Co-Curricular Coordinator the GSA Advisor (Gay Straight Alliance) has the responsibility for helping students create a safe space for all.
WORK YEAR:   School year weekly or bi-weekly meetings
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The GSA Advisor has these among other duties and responsibilities:
1.      Regular meetings
2.      Consistent communication and collaboration with community agencies/programs committed to prevention/positive youth development programs.
3.      Individual conferences with students to discuss issues of concern as they arise.
4.      Oversee prevention campaigns developed by students throughout school year, including mock car crash, dead day, and the red ribbon campaign.
