About the Role

Red Leaf Developments is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of high-end residential and commercial landscape and pool projects.

The Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations, coordinating crews and trade partners, maintaining project schedules, ensuring jobsite safety, and delivering exceptional quality from project kickoff through completion.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced design-build environment. This role requires someone who takes ownership of jobsite performance and represents Red Leaf's commitment to excellence with clients, employees, and partners.


Key Responsibilities

Field Operations & Project Execution

  • Lead daily field operations for landscape construction and outdoor living projects
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, and daily production goals to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow
  • Review project plans, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure accurate execution
  • Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to support budget goals
  • Identify potential risks, delays, and project challenges while implementing solutions proactively

Quality, Safety & Client Experience

  • Maintain Red Leaf's high standards for craftsmanship and project quality
  • Conduct jobsite inspections and ensure work meets design specifications and company standards
  • Enforce safety policies, procedures, and best practices on all job sites
  • Maintain organized job sites and ensure proper care of equipment and materials
  • Communicate professionally with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams

Documentation & Administration

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, inspections, and project updates
  • Support change order documentation and project closeout processes
  • Provide consistent communication regarding project progress, challenges, and resource needs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project supervision, field management, or construction operations
  • Experience leading crews, subcontractors, or trade partners
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and jobsite coordination
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accountability
  • Proficiency with technology and construction management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in landscape construction, hardscape construction, pool construction, or outdoor living projects
  • Experience working in a high-end residential or commercial construction environment
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and change orders
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, or similar software

Physical Requirements:

The ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, the ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, bend at the neck and waist, twist at the neck and waist, grasp, use fine manipulation, reach above shoulder height, lift, sit, and stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours per day). All applicants must be willing to submit to drug and background tests.
