Job description

Renewal by Andersen, your premier window and door replacement company, is looking for an in-house Recruitment Specialist to work closely with the Human Resources and Recruitment Manager and be an integral part of the recruitment life cycle by sourcingcandidates, performing phone screens, scheduling interviews for a wide variety of positions, facilitating the onboarding process, retaining top talent, and be a great first impression of Renewal by Andersen.

This role requires strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, a passion for connecting talent with the right opportunity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining human resources and recruitment best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate candidate leads by attending job fairs, searching resumes, and assisting in the creation of ads on job boards
  • Conduct ongoing outreach to candidates via phone calls, emails, and text messages
  • Screen candidates per requirements and schedule interviews with Hiring Managers
  • Send confirmation emails and text messages
  • Follow up with candidates as needed, answering questions they may have about interviews or positions
  • Assist in special projects such as creation of job descriptions for lead sources, I-9 audits, ongoing personnel file organization, new hire documentation, and other projects as assigned
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation within HRIS, SharePoint, and other applicable platforms
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Provide clerical support to the HRR department
  • Assist with I-9 verification and orientation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communicationskills
  • Past experience in over the phone communication required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suites, ATS, and Paycom a plus, but not required
  • Highly detail oriented, responsive, and collaborative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong reliability, confidentiality, professionalism, and positivity
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to spend long periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations as needed (other offices, job fairs, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20lbs
  • High school diploma required, college degree, or working towards degree, a MAJOR plus
