Job description

RIA Recruiting is hiring a Part Time Hiring Associate to work with our recruiting firm. We work with Financial Advisory firms with fewer than 25 employees to help them grow their practices. We act as an outsource hiring manager on behalf of our clients to help them fill positions in their firms. The Hiring Associate reviews resumes, schedules and conducts zoom interviews, and tracks candidates through our defined hiring process.
Compensation:
  • Compensation is $30 - $40 per hour based on experience. This is an independent contractor (1099) position - you work from home and set your own hours.
    • Hours are flexible but need to be scheduled when candidates will be available for interviews. Preferred availability is between noon-9pm EST since we have candidates in all 4 time zones.

Responsibilities:
  • Review resumes of applicants to various types of positions and determine if candidates should be interviewed or eliminated.
  • Conduct 15 to 30 minute zoom interviews with candidates to determine if they have the experience, personality, and skillset for each position.
  • At the end of the interview, determine if each candidate should proceed in the process or be eliminated
  • Update our ATS daily so information is always current

Qualifications:
  • Some financial or wealth management background is preferred. Experience as a Client Service Associate in a financial advisory firm would be great
  • HR background would be great as well but not required.
  • Ability to make the decision to move a candidate to the next step in the hiring process or eliminate the candidate from contention after the zoom interview.
  • Excellent communications skills, personable but able to keep an objective distance and a critical eye for interviewing.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have a computer with video capability where you can conduct interviews in a quiet space. Home office/work space is encouraged
  • Be available for scheduled interviews. Hours are flexible and you can schedule interviews around your own schedule. We anticipate you will work approximately 15-20 hours per week, but the hours worked will depend on the number of interviews scheduled.

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute zoom interview. If there is ground to move forward, you will be asked to take assessments.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
