Job description

Gateway - Birmingham's first child and family services agency - seeks an energetic and organized customer service-oriented professional to be the Marketing and Recruiting Manager for Gateway's Therapeutic Foster Care Program. This position offers a rare opportunity to make a real difference for children in Therapeutic Foster Care and the foster parents who care for them. This professional leads the recruitment and licensing processes for foster parents, ensuring a truly positive experience for each one. Management responsibilities include leadership and coaching the staff team and foster parents, bringing innovative new ideas for marketing and managing Gateway's social media outreach. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter and effective project manager who is truly passionate about engaging potential resource parents to explore the personally rewarding opportunities of fostering.
Since 1891, Gateway staff have been changing the game for generations of children and families in Alabama. We offer a competitive salary, mileage reimbursement, generous leave time, comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) match, excellent supervision and skills training, and career advancement. Gateway hires the best people because the children and families we serve deserve nothing less. Our team is a hardworking, ethical, diverse, and courageous workforce of champions. Good written and verbal skills and proficiency with social media, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office required. The work mostly happens in the community and in our current and prospective foster homes; availability to work a flexible schedule with evenings and weekends as required to support foster parents and programmatic needs. Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and insurance as required by Gateway's insurer is necessary.
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $65,000 depending on education and level of experience.
