Recruiting Manager (Bilingual Mandarin Required)

Position Summary
Gotion is seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager (Bilingual Mandarin) to lead our Talent Acquisition function during an exciting period of rapid growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies while leading a team of recruiters supporting manufacturing, engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, and corporate functions.
The Recruiting Manager will serve as a strategic business partner to both U.S. and China-based leadership, requiring the ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to support hiring initiatives, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators to achieve hiring goals across multiple business functions.
  • Establish recruiting priorities, hiring strategies, and performance expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition organization.

Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Partner with U.S. and China-based executives, HR leaders, and hiring managers to forecast workforce needs and develop strategic recruiting plans.
  • Support organizational growth by aligning recruiting strategies with business objectives.

Full-Cycle Recruitment
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, operations, finance, supply chain, IT, quality, and leadership positions.
  • Personally recruit for executive, highly technical, and confidential positions when needed.

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, industry associations, universities, military recruiting, referrals, and passive candidate outreach.
  • Build long-term talent pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill positions.

Recruiting Operations
  • Optimize recruiting workflows, ATS processes (Greenhouse preferred), interview processes, and reporting.
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor recruiting KPIs including:
    • Time-to-Fill
    • Time-to-Hire
    • Offer Acceptance Rate
    • Cost-per-Hire
    • Recruiter Productivity
    • Diversity Metrics
  • Present recruiting performance and hiring forecasts to executive leadership.

Employer Branding
  • Partner with HR and Marketing to strengthen Gotion's employer brand.
  • Represent Gotion at universities, career fairs, professional organizations, and industry events.

Compliance
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain consistent hiring documentation and process compliance.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including technical, manufacturing, engineering, and corporate recruiting.
  • 3+ years of recruiting leadership or Talent Acquisition management experience.
  • Experience leading recruiting teams in a high-growth manufacturing, automotive, battery, industrial, or technology environment.
  • Proven experience partnering with international business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce planning, recruiting strategy, direct sourcing, employment branding, and talent market intelligence.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred), HRIS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment analytics.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service to hiring managers and candidates.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working for a global or multinational organization.
  • Experience supporting U.S. and Asia-based business operations.
  • Startup or greenfield manufacturing experience.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, AIRS, or LinkedIn Recruiter Certification.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
Expected Pay Range
$120,000-$150,000 USD
