Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. ABOUT THE TEAM At Anduril, our recruiting team is the driving force behind building a world-class defense technology company. We are a high-agency, mission-driven team committed to finding the exceptional talent required to solve some of the world's most critical national security challenges. Partnering directly with leaders across engineering and manufacturing, we design and execute hiring strategies that match the speed and urgency of our mission. We thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where we value creativity, raw capability, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking a Recruiting Lead - Advanced Manufacturing & Production to lead, inspire, and scale our Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) production recruiting team. In this role, you will be a player-coach-directly managing a team of high-performing recruiters while personally driving search strategies for critical leadership and highly complex technical roles. As a key talent leader, you will partner directly with VPs, Directors, and hiring managers to align talent acquisition with Anduril's rapid production scale-up. You will design scalable recruiting processes, leverage data to optimize team performance, and build the recruiting infrastructure needed to support our advanced manufacturing facilities. This is a high-visibility leadership role with significant growth potential, ideal for a strategic talent leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead & Mentor: Manage, coach, and develop a team of internal recruiters and contractors, driving a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning. * Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary talent advisor to Senior Leadership across Manufacturing, Production, and Operations. Align capacity planning and headcount forecasting with business objectives. * Player-Coach Execution: Personally own and execute full-cycle recruiting for high-impact leadership roles and highly complex technical hires. * Optimize Recruiting Operations: Evaluate and improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and interview pipelines to reduce time-to-hire while maintaining an exceptionally high talent bar. * Lead with Data & Insights: Build and analyze recruiting metrics (pipeline health, pass-through rates, capacity modeling) to deliver regular updates, market maps, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders. * Champion Anduril's Culture: Ensure the team delivers an exceptional, mission-aligned candidate experience that reflects Anduril's values and brand. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience: 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years of direct people management experience leading recruiting teams in a high-growth environment. * Domain Expertise: Proven track record recruiting for advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, or high-tech hardware operations. * Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to build relationships, influence, and partner with executive-level stakeholders (VPs, Directors). * Analytical Mindset: Strong data literacy; experience using recruiting metrics to forecast hiring capacity, diagnose pipeline bottlenecks, and drive team performance. * High Agency: A self-starter who excels in ambiguous environments, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and takes complete ownership of outcomes. * Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. * Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Scaling Experience: Experience scaling manufacturing or production teams from mid-stage growth to high-volume production. * Agility: Experience managing a hybrid team of full-time employees (FTEs) and contract recruiters. * Low Ego, High Drive: A leader who is willing to roll up their sleeves to help the team cross the finish line-no task is too big or too small. US Salary Range $143,000 - $191,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
