As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and highly driven Senior Managing Consultant to lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, develop client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of our organization.

Position Overview

The Senior Managing Consultant will serve as a high-level recruiting and business development professional responsible for managing client relationships, identifying top-tier talent, and driving revenue growth. This role is ideal for a proven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships with both clients and candidates.

The successful candidate will have experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing new business opportunities, mentoring junior recruiters, and delivering exceptional service to clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Search & Recruiting

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Source, identify, recruit, and evaluate highly qualified professionals for executive, management, and specialized positions.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Present qualified candidates and provide consultative hiring recommendations to clients.
  • Negotiate compensation packages and facilitate successful offer acceptance.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct client intake meetings to understand hiring needs, organizational culture, and talent requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
  • Deliver market intelligence, compensation trends, and workforce insights to clients.
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and long-term partnership development.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry engagement.
  • Generate new client partnerships and expand existing accounts.
  • Develop strategic recruiting plans aligned with client growth initiatives.
  • Participate in industry events, trade associations, and networking activities.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor and support junior recruiters and recruiting coordinators.
  • Share best practices in sourcing, candidate engagement, and client management.
  • Assist leadership in developing recruiting strategies and operational improvements.
  • Contribute to team performance goals and revenue objectives.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in executive search, professional recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition.
  • Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting processes.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong business development and account management abilities.
  • Excellent interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
