Position Summary

This role is perfect for the assistant with prior law firm or law school legal recruiting experience who excels in being the glue that helps hold the department together and working in a fast-paced environment to help get matters across the finish line. Join Benesch and play a pivotal role in shaping the recruiting success of our organization.
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the functions of the Legal Recruiting team related to lateral attorney resume collection and management, interview scheduling, candidate and recruiter communications, and other administrative support functions.
Essential Legal Recruiting Functions:
  1. Coordinates interview schedules, including sending calendar appointments, reserving conference rooms, making travel arrangements, distributing materials, ordering food and collecting/distributing evaluations; communicates schedules internally, and to recruiters and candidates as appropriate.
  2. Assists candidates with travel arrangements and expense reimbursements as needed.
  3. Greets candidates in a professional and client-service manner and manages interview experience to provide a positive interview experience for each candidate and the interview team.
  4. Tracks all lateral resumes received through ViRecruit and Monday.com, and performs preliminary due diligence/school and work background information gathering on candidates, as instructed by the legal recruiting team.
  5. Processes expenses and placement fee invoices.
  6. Coordinates appointments for recurring department meetings; takes notes in OneNote and follows up on action items.
  7. Manages ViRecruit platform and Monday.com (i.e. resume upload, candidate data management).
  8. Provides support to the Legal Recruiting Manager(s) to coordinate and manage the associate, of counsel, patent agent and staff attorney recruiting and interview experience.
  9. Provides support to the Director of Legal Recruiting to coordinate the partner recruiting process.
  10. Assists with compiling department statistics and reports.
  11. Maintains up-to-date recruiting collateral materials with Marketing Department.
  12. Maintains all placement agreements as they pertain to timekeeper hiring, tracking payment terms and expiration dates.
  13. Assists in the development of a quarterly newsletter for placement firms.
  14. Communicates properly and promptly with Benesch personnel and external contacts at all times and must exhibit a high level of customer service at all times.
  15. Provides administrative support including correspondence, report generation, memoranda and/or other documents, revising, proofreading, assembling, and distributing prepared materials as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Assists with special projects as needed.
  2. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator must have a High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred. At least 1 to 3 years of experience in a law firm is required. Must be proficient in ViRecruit, LawCruit or similar ATS in addition to Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with Monday.com is preferred but not required. Must be highly organized and have the ability to independently multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Must possess an excellent client service attitude as well as outstanding professionalism and communication skills to provide optimal client service. Must possess good judgment and tact and remain poised in high-stress situations. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is required.
The salary range for this position is $62K to $77K.

Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that Benesch provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full-time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
