Job Summary
Provides support in the recruitment function of human resources with accountabilities including but not limited to recruitment and employment, record retention, compliance, policy and procedure administration and special projects.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
  • Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with clients' requirements by, evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate.
  • Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
  • Complete necessary pre and post offer employment processes including reference checks, background/drug tests, new hire paperwork processing, and employee orientations.
  • Manage contract employees while on assignment. Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Work with Sales Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, to assess clients' staffing requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive and diverse environment.
  • Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting "best practices" and providing accurate, thorough documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems or other documentation tools.
  • Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements :
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience as a Recruiter, Sales Representative, or as a Human Resources Coordinator, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to relate information with clarity.
  • Solid knowledge of basic employment laws.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft platform and time and attendance systems, for the purposes of data entry and report creation and maintenance.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Professional HR or Recruiter certification/designation
