Job description

Requisition Summary

The IT Senior Control Analyst is responsible for leading, planning and managing PACCAR compliance activities essential to PACCAR’s Information Governance and Internal Controls program. This role will be responsible for services ranging from maintaining records and information policies and schedules to the performance of audit activities  to help ensure that IT compliance activities meet governing standards, industry best practices, and SOX regulatory requirements. Information Technology is a complex environment, and you will be involved in evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls while ensuring the completeness and accuracy of audit and compliance related documentation.

Division Information

PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes innovative technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice, and data communications services to the entire corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Guide PACCAR divisions to understand requirements associated with IT internal control and records management activities.
  • Maintain PACCAR’s record retention schedule, identifying necessary updates to ensure compliance with global record retention requirements.
  • Stay abreast of IT policies, standards and/or procedures and industry best practices.
  • Identify, obtain, and analyze appropriate information to gain an understanding of the IT or business processes under review.
  • Execute independent and objective examinations of complex information systems, data, and technologies per audit plan.
  • Perform ITGC (IT General Controls) and ITAC (IT Application Controls) testing.
  • Document tests and findings through the completion of audit workpapers.
  • Review workpapers and findings to ensure compliance and audit activities are properly documented.
  • Coordinate yearly destruction of records.
  • Participate in major information systems implementations to ensure that the appropriate IT controls and records management functions are included in system design and implementation.
  • Provide necessary annual training to help ensure compliance.
  • Develop processes to enhance, automate, and simplify records management processes for PACCAR divisions.
  • Present concerns to management in an organized and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with and support internal and external auditors.
Qualifications
  • Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and treat confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to analyze complex data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a global team environment.
  • Four years’ experience in Information Technology industry, IT auditing, or SOX testing.
  • Certificate of Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Advanced skills including use Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Additional skills in SharePoint, Tableau, Power Automate or SQL preferred.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Education

Bachelor’s degree is required, Business, Computer Science or related fields are preferred.
