POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources intern will support the HR team in a variety of administrative and operational functions. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in key HR areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR systems, compensation, benefits, and compliance, while offering exposure to real-world HR practices in a professional environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides administrative and operational support to the Lifecycle Services and Total Rewards teams
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
  • Complete commissioning software data entry and uploads
  • Monitor and respond to email inquiries for both the Lifecycle Services and Total Rewards teams, routing when appropriate
  • Process written employee personnel changes
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding audits
  • Participate in HR Projects and department initiatives, as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling of sensitive employee information and company records
  • Provide timely and professional customer service to internal employees

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing an degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems preferred, but not required
