LC State invites applications for the position of Associate Registrar.Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $55,000 - $58,000Degree Required: Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college/university OR a Bachelor's Degree with significant years in registrar or financial aid higher education.Required Qualifications:Experience working in an office setting, excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to organize resources, multi-task, establish priorities, and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, strong computer skills, and ability to navigate exporting and organizing reportsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a Registrar & Records Office or Financial Aid Office in higher educationExperience working with college athletics, preferably NAIAExperience with Student Information System (SIS) used to collect, store, manage, and interpret data from student records and activitiesResponsibilities:Athletic Eligibility1. Review and enter relevant academic data on all eligibility rosters2. Collaborate with the faculty athletic representative and Athletics Department to process timely submission of rosters and other information to the NAIA3. Review transfer transcripts for all athletes to determine the credits to be applied toward eligibility4. Complete all scholar athlete nomination forms for both individual and team submissionsGraduation1. Update graduation applications on an annual basis2. Review graduation applications and degree audits3. Conduct final graduation checks and award degrees4. Oversee the diploma print list, production, and mailing of diplomas and diploma covers after each semester5. Serve on the commencement committee and assist the Provost's Office with commencement6. Organize and assist with commencement day event7. Monitor graduation inventory (diploma covers, paper, cords, etc.) and order as neededEnrollment Reporting1. Submit timely enrollment reports throughout the academic year to the National Student Clearinghouse2. Verify information is submitted correctly to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)3. Work directly with the Financial Aid Office to ensure accuracy of student dataGeneral Responsibilities1. Oversee student communication, review, and update every year2. Review and update Registrar & Records procedures. Update inventory list yearly3. Oversee course substitutions with transcript evaluators4. Process a wide variety of office forms such as add/drop, withdrawals, PIFs5.
