Job description

Seasonal Grain Operations
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Seasonal Grain Operator to support daily grain handling operations during harvest and peak seasonal periods. This position is responsible for receiving, grading, handling, storing, and loading grain while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, unload, and load grain from trucks and railcars.
  • Operate grain handling equipment, including conveyors, legs, augers, and related machinery.
  • Assist with grain sampling, grading, and quality control procedures.
  • Monitor grain conditions and storage facilities.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Accurately complete required documentation and records.
  • Assist with additional operations and facility tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak harvest seasons.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
