Record label internships are temporary positions, often for students or recent graduates, that provide hands-on experience working at a music record label. Interns may assist with tasks in departments such as marketing, A&R (Artists and Repertoire), promotion, or administration. These internships give participants valuable insight into the music industry, help them build professional networks, and can sometimes lead to full-time positions. Duties can vary widely, but typically include supporting staff with daily operations, attending meetings, and helping organize events or campaigns.

As a record label intern, you'll likely be involved in a variety of tasks that provide insight into the music industry, such as assisting with marketing campaigns, supporting event planning, helping with social media management, and conducting research on emerging artists or market trends. You may also support the A&R (Artists and Repertoire) team by organizing demo submissions or tracking artist release schedules. Interns often collaborate with different departments, offering valuable hands-on experience and networking opportunities that can help lay the foundation for a future career in the music business.
