Job description

Whitlam Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this customer-focused role, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers and driving revenue growth.

As an Account Executive, you'll spend the majority of your time face-to-face with prospective and current customers, identifying their labeling and packaging needs and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions. If you're a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, closing business and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, marketing initiatives and cold calling.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers to understand their business needs and recommend customized labeling and packaging solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate Whitlam Group's products and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while growing existing accounts.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and sales contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to successfully close new business.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate sales activities, pipeline and customer information within the CRM system.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and Whitlam Group's products and capabilities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Customer Service, Operations and other internal teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Whitlam Group at trade shows, industry events and customer meetings. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three years of successful outside sales experience.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and consistently close sales.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in selling labels, packaging or printing or other industrial/manufacturing products.
