The 1901 Project will partner with Communities Empowered Through Construction to engage and develop a local workforce within the project area, creating pathways to long-term economic opportunity for residents of the Westhaven neighborhood, Chicago's West Side, and the broader city. Encompassing more than 13 million square feet, the 1901 Project is designed to reconnect surrounding neighborhoods and establish a world-class urban core on the West Side, setting a new standard for inclusive, forward-thinking urban development.
