Receptionist Position

We are looking for a receptionist to join our team!

Hourly Rate: $20.50 per hour

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Wall, NJ

Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine (THSM) recently partnered with Atlantic Health Systems in an effort to grow our medical neighborhood, and our plan is to grow that medical neighborhood fast! With a goal to get patients out of pain and keep them out of pain; THSM has effectively achieved an extremely high satisfaction rate from our patients. Located throughout New Jersey, THSM takes a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care by offering a variety of treatments and services including but not limited to: Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Massage Therapy and Physical Medicine services. Each discipline works together with years of experience to find the best possible treatment program for our patients. THSM is looking for team members who want to make a difference in people's lives through high-quality treatment and unprecedented care for our patients' outcomes.

Office Hours:

Monday / Wednesday / Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Tuesday / Thursday: 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Office closed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for lunch breaks and documentation time.

No weekend patient hours.

Job Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • High quality customer service
  • Talking to patients, answering phones, answering emails and messages
  • Scheduling/rescheduling/cancelling patient appointments
  • Taking coinsurance payments and copayments
  • Explaining paperwork and documentation
  • Verify patient insurances via phone call or website
  • Be knowledgeable of services provided
  • Attend internal and external company marketing events
  • Attending company trainings
  • Adhering to company policies
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to utilize a computer for long periods of time
  • Must be able to handle a fast-paced office with large patient volume
