Monitor Technician (PRN) Hours: PRN Responsibilities Admits and discharges patients from the monitoring system. Changes alarms and limits as directed for individual patient monitoring, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Interprets strips of monitor rhythm and posts them on proper chart form. Notifies appropriate personnel of alarm situations and changes in rhythm. Orders supplies and maintenance/repairs needed for optimal service. Serves as a customer service representative and receptionist as needed. Supports relationship-based care.
