Receptionist for the Office of Admission

The Receptionist for the Office of Admission serves as the first and most important point of contact for prospective students, families, campus visitors, and university stakeholders. This position requires a warm, professional presence, excellent communication abilities, and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional first impression while efficiently supporting the administrative and event-related operations of the Admissions Office.

Examples of Duties
  • Greeting all guests in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Answering incoming calls with clarity and professionalism; respond to general inquiries and route calls appropriately to Admissions Counselors, Processors, Assistant Directors, or the Dean.
  • Maintaining a helpful, positive demeanor in all in-person and phone interactions.
  • Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assisting in the planning, preparation, and execution of high-impact recruitment events.
