As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as a Front Desk Professional, where you will welcome visitors, support access control and badge activity, monitor front lobby conditions, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this highly visible role, you will help support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while using technology to manage daily security-related tasks.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and/or vendors, managing front desk access activities, and following site-specific policies for a professional aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and documented procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel and documenting security-related events.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support badge issuance, visitor logs, and other front desk administrative duties tied to security-related operations.
  • Observe the reception area and adjacent access points for unusual activity, report concerns promptly, and follow emergency response instructions when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
