Job Description
Responsible for executing and primarily overseeing daily receiving functions that include material receipts, storing, counting, picking, packaging and distributing material throughout the warehouse facility by utilizing lift trucks and other handling equipment. Associate is to maintain established inventory standard levels and ensure tasks are fulfilled in the most affective and accurate manner.
Your Tasks
  • Unload all inbound material from truck shipments and assist delivery carriers with unloading of parcel packages
  • Inspect, review, verify and record inbound material against delivery paperwork and document any discrepancies on appropriate documents
  • Perform material receipts into respective warehouse management systems and communicate any discrepancies and/or issues with Management
  • Carry out material movements throughout warehouse by way of put-away, picking, cycle counting, replenish, and consolidating inventoried material within storage locations
  • Fulfill scrap requests by pulling, staging and systematically processing product as requested
  • Sort, count, package, rework and label product as requested by Management
  • Execute cycle counting process of inventoried materials by way of counting, recording, re-counting and data entry of count results
  • Assist with maintaining material accuracy and throughput in fulfillment/production areas
  • Delegate and instruct receiving personnel while maintaining a high level of service and productivity
  • Confers with department Supervisor/Manager for resolution of inventory related issues
  • Participate and contribute in process improvements and adhere to the Quality Management System
  • Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean and goal oriented work environment

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Previous experience with leading or supervising a team with a minimum of 2 people
  • 2 year minimum of work experience in fulfillment/warehouse environment
  • Computer use and RF hand-held scanner
  • Effective communication/comprehension skills - verbal and written form
  • Math skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately
  • Familiar with commonly used practices, concepts and procedures within field
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from management and other departments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and execute solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) specifically with use on spreadsheets and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and oversee production with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and perform multi-tasks successfully
  • A certain degree of creativity and innovation is required
