We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Americas Finance Leader to serve as a strategic business partner, holding commercial leaders accountable for performance while effectively influencing senior leadership to drive the achievement of the company's objectives.

The Senior Director, Americas Finance Lead provides strategic and operational financial leadership to support the Americas RCO's (Regional Commercial Organization) achievement of its business objectives.  This role is focused on business partnering with the Americas RCO leader (GVP) and leading the Americas commercial finance team to provide value-add partnership to various leaders within the commercial organization.

The Americas RCO includes the U.S., Canada, and LATAM region and accounts for approximately 40% of the company's dental revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

People:

  • Partners with Americas GVP and other senior commercial leaders to drive primary business objective and profitable growth for the company
  • Coaches, trains, mentors direct reports and team to develop future finance leaders and gain leverage; creating capacity for more value-add business partnering for the whole team
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders by anticipating business needs, aligning support with strategic priorities, and delivering solutions that enable effective decision-making and organizational performance.
  • Partners with over a dozen Sales and Marketing leaders to create strategic and high ROI plans, allocate resources to highest and best use while holding business leaders accountable for their budgets
  • Builds a strong culture of high performers
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to drive value-creating initiatives

Processes:

  • Drives business performance via weekly leadership meetings, monthly business reviews and other applicable forums
  • Leads team to proactively track business trends and develop insightful reports and tools to drive visibility and inform business decisions
  • Leads long-range planning, annual operating plans, forecasts and other business planning within the cycle
  • Initiates financial analysis and business analytics to drive critical decision-making
  • Optimizes utilization of existing financial systems and tools while also pushing the frontier on compliant usage of automation and AI
  • Creates and communicates executive level presentations for the commercial and company leadership

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
  • MBA or other Advanced Degree preferred

Certifications/Licensing:

  • CPA, CMA or CFA a plus but not required

Years and Type of Experience:

  • +10 years of Accounting, Finance or Commerce Experience
  • +5 years of which must have been in a Business partnership role
