What You Will Do

We are currently hiring an Integration and Test Lead Engineer responsible for working with the Test Architect in the refinement and implementation of the SM-6 IAU program test strategy and architecture focused on product transition to production. This leader will provide critical input in the development, maintenance and implementation of the program test strategy as it is optimized to meet program end-goal objectives. The role requires critical interaction/event planning with the Chief Engineers and Lead System Engineers, software team and system integration and test team with a focus on test processes, embedded test, factory operations, and other functions.

This is a potential steppingstone towards the role of becoming a Test Architect. Join this team to perform technically challenging assignments which will directly contribute to protecting our nation and our war fighters.

Responsibilities to Anticipate

  • Responsible for supporting development and implementation of test strategy for critical aspects of the program production efforts and defines metrics to gauge progress.
  • Facilitates the transition between Engineering Development and Production Test Program Phases to optimize production assembly and test solutions.
  • Responsible for defining or optimizing test environments and requirements to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations on test strategy, coordination, execution, and reporting activities.
  • Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Directorate Leads, Engineering leadership and Technical SME's
  • Coordinate with other program IPTs/CPTs to draw on their subject matter experts to address emergent issues across the systems, software and hardware domains.
  • Represent the interests of the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) directorate on the program.
  • Interface with the customer community on a regular basis to share test status, issues, and address programmatic concerns.
  • Have a good knowledge base for Model Based Systems Engineering and how to use this in Integration and Test for the test strategy.
  • Mentoring junior I&T engineers on their performance of their duties
  • This position may require domestic and international travel.
  • The ability to obtain additional program clearances as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of Eight (8) years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in Integration and Testing
  • Active and transferable US government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
