An exciting opportunity exists for a college graduate to join our semiconductor foundry team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.

What You Will Do

  • Work in a cleanroom environment
  • Handle GaAs and GaN wafers
  • Assist with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes
  • Perform and document optical microscope inspections
  • Perform scanning electron microscope imaging
  • Failure analysis and Data analysis

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
