Conversion Rate Optimization Manager

Who's In The Kitchen:

This role is perfect for you if you are results-obsessed and always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. As the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager, you will manage all aspects of our experimentation program. You will synthesize data, session replays, user research, and other customer feedback touchpoints to inform and prioritize an experimentation roadmap that will propel the Blue Apron business forward. You're a great fit for this role if you are highly analytical and technical in nature and love to tell the story behind the data. Forecast and react to market trends, dive deep into experiment data and collaborate with product managers to ideate new functionality/capabilities for our website based on analytics and voice of customer program feedback. You will mine key insights from the CRO program that will be shared out creatively on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with partners from our Product, Revenue/Marketing, and Engineering teams. You will have a direct and visible impact on our revenue targets, our digital product roadmap, and key marketing initiatives. You'll be responsible for managing the overall direction of the program, across Product enhancements, Conversion Funnels and Campaign/Funnel optimization. The ideal candidate will evangelize experimentation across the Brooks Running organization to embrace and properly utilize experimentation.

What's On The Menu:

  • Analyze and Iterate: Dive deep into analytics and user research to understand user behavior, spot trends, and formulate data-driven decisions.
  • Strategize and Drive: Identify growth opportunities across the customer journey, from awareness to reactivation, and develop a roadmap
  • Experiment Continuously: Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and other experiments to optimize the product & marketing campaign experience to drive growth and retention.
  • Collaborate: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams – from design to engineering to marketing – to deliver on growth initiatives.
  • Leverage technical acumen to effectively partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement new experimentation.
  • Maintaining roadmap, requirements gathering, test implementation, measurement, and next-step recommendations to drive measurable increases in conversion rates and revenue.
  • Design and implement testing processes and internal tools, in collaboration with Engineering, Design, and Operations, that enable the team to work more efficiently and in an agile manner to support the rapid growth of the company.
  • Coordinate creative materials, Configure, QA and troubleshoot tests and personalizations.
  • Build a QA practice to verify that all test variations are working as expected before a test launch and check early data post-launch to detect any issues.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and translate research findings, insights, and data into actionable, measurable UX recommendations, content update or website improvements.

Necessary Ingredients:

  • 3+ years working in user experience design, data science, experimentation, digital product management, or similar eCommerce roles centered on insights-driven design
  • Well versed in testing methodologies and hands on knowledge of tools such as Optimizely, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Contentsquare, etc.
  • Strong analytical proficiency required; Google Analytics & Amplitude experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience coding with HTML, CSS, and JS to implement basic tests
  • Is a problem solver. Proactively seeks creative solutions to achieve better UX/UI
  • Data oriented. Uses quantitative data, hierarchical understanding, and causal thinking to find answers
  • Proven track record of driving and achieving results through analyzing reports and drawing conclusions/ recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with engineering and marketing teams
  • Curious mindset with a bias towards action to move ideas into reality
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results
  • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products, or other departments' operations and/or morale; "connecting the dots"
