The Specialist, Rate Management, serves as a strategic contributor responsible for leading complex analytical projects and translating business needs into actionable solutions. This role requires a high level of autonomy, technical expertise, and business acumen to influence pricing strategies and operational decisions. The Specialist is recognized as a subject matter expert and plays a key role in enhancing analytical tools, improving data quality, and driving innovation across rate management processes.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities


Lead complex analytical projects and workstreams aligned to approved Rate Management initiatives

Translate business requirements into actionable analytical solutions supporting pricing, product, and regulatory execution

Develop and enhance advanced models, tools, and automation to improve rate structure accuracy and scalability

Partner cross-functionally to support product development, campaign execution, and operational readiness

Own execution of improvements to data quality, internal controls, and process automation

Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentoring to analysts and peers

Apply AI-enabled analytics to deliver insights, automate analysis, and improve decision support

Must be available to support outside of core hours as necessary


Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements


6+ years related professional work experience, preferably in the competitive/deregulated electricity market

3+ years developing and analyzing large-scale, complex customer information systems and processes

3+ years of experience supporting or coordinating customer-facing projects and initiatives

Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex initiatives and strategic insights

Proficient skills in VBA, SAP, Snowflake, Python, Tableau/Power BI, and SFDC experience preferred

Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to the above skills

On-time delivery of assigned Rate Management initiatives and workstreams

Measurable improvements to pricing accuracy, data quality, or operational efficiency

Sustained accuracy of rate and customer-facing content within owned scope
