Job description

One of our clients in Cave City, AR is urgently looking for a Data Center Installation Technician.

Duration: 1-2 months

Hourly: $50 - $60 per hour (1099/C2C)

Scope:

  1. A technically capable hands-on data center engineer/technician who can independently perform installation, cabling, hardware troubleshooting and deployment tasks without needing constant supervision.
  2. Looking for someone who can execute the deployment correctly and troubleshoot problems encountered during installation.

Must-to-Have:

  • Proven hands-on deployment experience with rack-mounted compute and networking hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with Rack & stack of servers, server installation/removal, rack mounting and rail installation
  • Experience with server/infrastructure cabling, copper and fiber cabling and/or DAC/AOC cable installation
  • Good understanding with Cable management, Hardware labeling and reading rack elevations / installation documentation
  • Understands PDU/power connections and basic server hardware troubleshooting
  • Working in a structured data center environment

Note:

Candidates with GPU/AI/HPC data center deployment experience is a huge plus
