About AVCON Manufacturing

AVCON Manufacturing manufactures and installs custom thermoplastic railing systems for commercial projects—think boardwalks, hotel balconies, multifamily housing, and similar applications. Our work is primarily throughout the tri-state area, with occasional out-of-state installation projects.

Position Overview

Due to continued growth, we are seeking both Installers and Crew Leaders to join our field installation team.

This is a hands-on position working on commercial construction sites installing custom railing systems. Crew Leaders will be expected to coordinate daily work activities and provide direction to a small crew, while Installers will work as part of the team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 1–5+ years of experience in a commercial construction environment
  • Carpentry experience or strong familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD/shop drawings for field installation is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • OSHA 30 certification (required or must be obtained shortly after hire)
  • Ability to travel throughout the tri-state area and occasionally out of state
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well as part of a team
