Job description

JOB SUMMARY

 Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Radwell International is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence to serve as a visible catalyst for change in a growing, dynamic organization. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead organizational wide transformation, influence executive decision-making, and move the business from good to great by embedding a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational discipline.

You will lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives that improve performance, elevate employee engagement, and deliver productivity that fuels future growth and raise the bar on how the organization operates. As a visible change leader, you will gain deep business and customer insight, inspire new ways of working, and accelerate your path to broader executive leadership—while leaving a lasting legacy through developing people and building capability. This role is ideal for a seasoned change leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and influence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Strategic Transformation

 

  • Set the vision, purpose, and roadmap for Operational Excellence (Lean-CI) aligning priorities to business strategy and financial goals.
  • Partner with business leaders across all functions / levels to drive transformational change and elevate business performance.
  • Develop and manage a healthy improvement funnel, ensuring focus on the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Lead complex, strategic, cross-divisional improvement events and transformation initiatives.
  • Deploy resources effectively to address business challenges, improve operational health, and accelerate results.

 

Drive Execution & Business Performance

 

  • Lead deployment and maturation of the Continuous Improvement system across the organization.
  • Utilize structured processes, systems, analytics, and KPIs (including leading indicators) to drive results.
  • Facilitate strategy deployment and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Elevate productivity, quality, and customer outcomes through disciplined improvements execution and performance management.
  • Share best practices internally and externally to continuously raise the bar.
  • Ensure effective initiative improvement tracking and performance management

 

Develop People, Capability & Culture

 

  • Build organizational capability in Lean, problem solving, and data-driven execution.
  • Inspire employee engagement and involvement in continuous improvement at all levels.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to strengthen decision-making, storytelling, and change leadership skills.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·        10+ years of experience in operations, engineering, or Operational Excellence leadership.

·        Proven success leading large-scale Lean / Continuous Improvement transformations.

·        Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem solving, and strategy deployment.

·        Strong financial and analytical acumen with experience delivering measurable business results.

·        Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, STEM, or related field required (MBA a plus); Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

 

BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

§  Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 90 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue

§  Annual Reviews – Employee will be given a formal regular annual review which assesses productivity and demonstrated business skills and accomplishments for the previous period.

 

WORK SCHEDULE

Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM minimum. Extended hours may be required to support customer escalations and business needs.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Operational Excellence / Engagement across all levels and functions within facilities. Employees must adhere to Radwell safety, badge, and attire policies at all times.

Radwell Benefits

Benefits: Radwell offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage. The Company provides company sponsored short-term and long-term disability benefits, as well as $50,000 in Life insurance. These benefits, along with additional voluntary benefits, are available to all regular full-time employees beginning on first day of employment. All employees are automatically enrolled at 3% into the Company’s 401(k) Plan on the first of the month following 90 days of continuous employment.  Employees are eligible for common paid Company Holidays and 15 days of PTO annually, which begin accruing on first date of employment and may be used immediately upon joining the team.  

Salary Information:

The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000.00 - $232,000.00/year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
