Location: Raleigh NC
Hire Type: Contract
Compensation: $25hr

Overview:
he Sales Support Representative (SSR) supports customers and sales teams by managing quotes, proposals, forecasts, and sales reporting. This role works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to deliver timely customer solutions and support sales growth.

Job Duties:
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate and manage quote and proposal activities from request through submission.
  • Review customer specifications and requirements.
  • Generate accurate, competitive, and on-time proposals.
  • Track and manage proposals throughout the bid process.
  • Support sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and assist with monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Maintain CRM, sales records, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve response times and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or commercial operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce and ERP experience preferred.
  • Experience with contract review, pricing, or proposal development is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
