Job Description

The Branch Manager acts as the representative to customers for the assigned service area and manages a service support team of Radio Frequency (RF) Technicians, an office administrator, and other support staff. The manager ensures service center operations are efficient, that appropriate response times and timelines are met, and that the quality of work and customer service meets the highest standards for both demand services and contract services provided. The manager monitors workflow processes and implements changes to maximize efficiency, while instilling a culture of continuous improvement and customer-first service.


This is a role that requires the manager to work proactively without direct supervision.


Location: Tampa, FL

Salary Range: $90-$100k + BONUS

This position offers a competitive salary, annual bonus opportunity, and an attractive benefits plan including company-paid health insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, company-paid life insurance, paid holidays, and Paid Time Off (PTO). This role also provides an auto allowance.



Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for maintaining and expanding customer base and relationships
  • Responsible for continuous improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness of the service center
  • Oversee technical training of the team
  • Provide leadership, management, and development of team members
  • Monitor and achieve service center P&L targets
  • Implement service center policies within the region
  • Responsible for all assigned physical property, inventory, and assets
  • Lead service center budget construction and meet/exceed fiscal goals

Knowledge, Skills, & Other Requirements

  • Strong understanding of technical concepts (Radio Frequency (RF) Communications, LMR, and Telecommunications)
  • Experience with computer databases
  • Strong computer skills, including creation of reports and complex spreadsheets; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on Excel and Word
  • Excellent motivational and communication skills
  • Strategic and forward-thinking mindset
  • Experience with resource planning and budgeting
  • Ability to travel for training and other activities
  • Maintain accurate records related to time worked, attendance, workers’ compensation, disciplinary actions, and terminations

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • RF communications experience required
  • Technical understanding of RF/LMR communication systems
  • 3–5 years of experience in an emergency response field (Fire Department, Law Enforcement, or Military leadership preferred)
  • 3–5 years of progressive management experience required
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and achieve assigned goals
  • Experience in resource planning and budgeting
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Proficient in presenting to small groups of customers

Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen and must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.


No suspensions within the past five years.
