Job description

Position Summary:
The Broadcast Production Manager plans, coordinates, and executes live event productions across television, in-house videoboards, streaming, and radio while overseeing all technical operations, production staff, and broadcast systems for WesBanco Arena.
Reporting Relationship:
  • Reports to the Arena Production Manager for all non-hockey events.
  • Collaborates with the Wheeling Nailers, promoters, broadcasters, and venue staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Broadcast & Technical Operations
  • Manage broadcast signal flow and production systems.
  • Execute run-of-shows and troubleshoot live productions.
  • Operate television, streaming, radio, and videoboard productions.
  • Maintain IP networking and NDI workflows.
  • Oversee LED video wall maintenance, including modules, drivers, receiving cards, power supplies, and preventive maintenance.

Production Leadership:
  • Lead production crews during setup, rehearsals, live events, and strike.
  • Support all WesBanco Arena events.
  • Train and schedule production staff.
  • Coordinate with venue personnel, broadcasters, and promoters.
  • Promote a safe and professional work environment.

Management & Administration:
  • Develop production budgets and assist with capital planning.
  • Manage equipment inventory and replacement schedules.
  • Coordinate maintenance and vendor support.
  • Develop SOPs and quality standards.
  • Research and implement new production technologies.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
