Job description

Shop Laborer– Central Phoenix

Colby Welding & Radiator Inc.

Colby Welding & Radiator Inc. has been providing high-quality welding and radiator repair services for the automotive, trucking, industrial, construction, and mining industries since 1997. We are nationally known and locally owned.

Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $18 – $19 Hourly / Depending on Experience

Job Hours

  • 5:00am to 1:30pm - Monday thru Friday / Overtime may apply on occasion

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and reassemble cooling components such as Radiators, Charge-air coolers, etc.
  • Learn to prep and test radiators
  • Cleaning miscellaneous parts and fuel tanks with pressure washer
  • Prep material for paint
  • Paint material
  • Basic shop cleaning
  • Other tasks and duties required to support daily objectives as needed
  • Chance to learn and advance knowledge

Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation and show up for work on time.
  • Basic mechanical and hand tool knowledge
  • Teamwork is essential along with good time management and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet throughout the day
  • Previous operating forklift skills a plus
