Job description

Night Shift (4 days/ 12 hours)

Level B Refrigeration mechanics have RETA I Certification and are in process of RETA Level II Certification. Competent with routine/non-routine refrigeration preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation. They repair, troubleshoot, maintain, inspect, and adjust complex refrigeration processes in the plant to provide uninterrupted cooling requirements.

Duties/Activities Required by Job        

  • Perform  routine and non-routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Complete work orders as assigned.
  • Set up/tear down/adjust equipment.
  • Repair, troubleshoot, maintain, inspect, and adjust refrigeration processes
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters

Educations/Experience Requirements    

  • H/S, Technical , Vocational or advanced schooling, formal training and/or general-level maintenance with journeyman and/or certifications in one or more disciplines
  • 3-5 yrs. Industrial Manufacturing or Skilled Trades, previous work-related experience, may include a combination of on-the-job and  informal training
  • RETA I  Certification will be enrolled in Level II class , HazMat Trained. Competent with basic theory, practical knowledge and skills to safely and successfully function as a mid-level mechanic.
