Sales Operations Specialist, Quote-to-Cash (Mid-Market SaaS)

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking an experienced Sales Operations Specialist to support the commercial sales organization of one of our leading enterprise AI technology clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing organization supporting high-volume enterprise sales operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Position Details

  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Schedule: 100% Onsite (5 days/week)
  • Duration: 6-Month W2 Contract
  • Pay Rate: $130-$140/hour
About the Role

We''re looking for a highly organized sales operations professional to own the operational side of the quote-to-cash process for a rapidly growing commercial sales organization.

In this role, you''ll partner closely with Account Executives while serving as the primary owner of contract execution, quote creation, order management, provisioning coordination, and transactional support. Your work will remove operational bottlenecks, accelerate sales cycles, and improve the customer buying experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and building scalable processes within a high-growth SaaS environment.


What You''ll DoQuote-to-Cash Operations
  • Own the end-to-end contract and order workflow from quote creation through signature and execution
  • Build and maintain quotes using Salesforce CPQ or similar quoting platforms
  • Manage contract workflows using contract lifecycle management tools such as Ironclad, Conga, or DocuSign CLM
  • Coordinate approvals across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations
  • Monitor and resolve workflow bottlenecks that could delay customer transactions
  • Ensure pricing, contract details, approvals, and documentation remain accurate throughout the sales process
Sales & Customer Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for transactional sales questions from internal teams and customers
  • Support contract, billing, pricing, renewal, and order management inquiries
  • Coordinate trial provisioning, customer onboarding activities, and account updates
  • Resolve billing and contract issues by partnering with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and opportunity data within Salesforce
Process Improvement
  • Document repeatable workflows and operational best practices
  • Create and maintain process documentation and internal playbooks
  • Identify recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Finance to improve efficiency across the quote-to-cash lifecycle

QualificationsRequired
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Order Management, Sales Support, or a similar commercial operations role
  • Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise software sales organizations
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ or comparable quote management platforms
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems such as Ironclad, Conga, or DocuSign CLM
  • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes, contract execution, and enterprise sales workflows
  • Experience coordinating across Legal, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Sales teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority transactions simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through

Preferred
  • Experience supporting mid-market or enterprise commercial sales teams
  • Familiarity with enterprise contracts including MSAs, order forms, renewals, amendments, and net payment terms
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS organizations
  • Comfortable working in Slack-first, highly collaborative environments
  • Interest in emerging AI technologies and enterprise software
