The Quote Specialist 2 plays a key role in supporting the quoting process for the Interconnect, Wire & Cable division, serving as an end to end quote coordinator across material costing, labor estimation, BOM analysis, data formatting, and pricing development. This role ensures that all components of the quote package are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer requirements while partnering closely with cross functional teams and suppliers to deliver competitive and timely proposals.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to validate inputs, evaluate costs, identify potential risks, and support technical and commercial requirements throughout the quoting process. Experience working with local suppliers in Mexico is preferred, along with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Familiarity with ITAR and Commercial requirements is also beneficial.
This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite. Candidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of one of our sites in Dallas, Texas; Boise, Idaho; Denver, Colorado; Rochester, New York; Albuquerque, New Mexico; or Everett, Washington.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and interpret customer data packages including engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications
  • Format and structure BOMs to align with internal systems and determine make-or-buy scenarios
  • Validate cost inputs, material pricing, and labor estimates for quote readiness
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, and Supply Chain teams to assess feasibility and sourcing needs
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to develop accurate and competitive quote responses
  • Lead and participate in scope calls to clarify requirements and drive quote completeness
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR and Commercial policies based on project type
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring timely and high-quality quote submissions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quoting processes and tools
  • Maintain accountability for quote accuracy and alignment with customer requirements
  • May require decision and analysis aligned with business objectives and quote scope
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, relevant certification, or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in distribution, procurement, or supply chain
  • Preferred background in the semiconductor or electronics industry

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong familiarity with manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and product lifecycle stages
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, part specifications, and engineering documentation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including use of lookups, macros, and data structuring functions
  • Proven ability to independently tackle moderately complex problems and offer feasible solutions
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; meets deadlines with attention to detail
  • Effective communicator, capable of leading scope discussions and collaborating across departments
  • High degree of self-confidence, professional demeanor, and customer service orientation
  • Natural ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Influences quoting outcomes and supports Business Unit strategies through accurate execution
  • Preferred Bi-lingual English|Spanish

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $70k-$80k USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
