Full Charge Bookkeeper


Reputable, and growing, full service electric contractor, providing top-tier electrical services, including everything from lighting fixtures to generator installation repair, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team.


This pivotal role involves managing comprehensive accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and efficient financial operations. For consideration, we are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated experience and strong knowledge of ServiceTitan Construction Software, QuickBooks Online (both are required), and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and strong technical accounting background will support the organization’s financial integrity and growth.


Responsibilities

· Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations utilizing ServiceTitan Construction software, and QuickBooks Online.

· Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports with precision.

· Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, account analysis, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.

· Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies using accounting software.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations by adhering to standards and accounting requirements.

· Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.

· Support budgeting processes, financial audits, tax preparation activities, and audit documentation.

· Utilize Excel data analysis skills for reporting and financial modeling to inform strategic decision-making.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes using ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, or other payroll and HR systems.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation techniques.


Requirements

· Must possess strong proficiency and demonstrated experience working with ServiceTitan Construction Software, and QuickBooks Online.

· Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles within public accounting or corporate finance environments.

· Familiarity with GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices is highly desirable.

· Knowledge of SOX compliance procedures to ensure internal control effectiveness.

· Excellent numeracy skills with a focus on accuracy in data entry and account analysis.

· Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting efficiently.

· Experience in handling payroll management.

· Strong technical accounting skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.

· Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts simultaneously.

· Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
