Job description

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Administrator/Dispatcher to join our customer's team. As a family-owned staffing company, we are dedicated to finding the best talent to support our clients' operational needs. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a growing roll-off dumpster rental operation by coordinating daily operations, managing office functions, supporting drivers, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate must be experienced with QuickBooks, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial records using QuickBooks.
Assist with payroll preparation and general office administration.
Coordinate dumpster deliveries, exchanges, and removals with drivers.
Maintain daily driver schedules and routing information.
Manage and update dispatch and delivery management software.
Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and service requests.
Maintain driver qualification files, safety records, and compliance documentation.
Track licenses, certifications, medical cards, and training records.
Organize employee files and company records.
Provide outstanding customer service and assist with resolving customer concerns.


Compensation: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of administrative, accounting, dispatch, or office management experience.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (required).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in transportation, waste hauling, logistics, construction, or related industries preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
