Job description

About UJV
Who Are We?
Planning and managing a 5-star vacation from scratch requires expertise, cleverness, and a genuine passion for detail. That's what UJV is all about. UJV is a service-driven team of experts that work behind the scenes, engineering luxury travel experiences for advisors globally, so they can grow their business and fully satisfy their exclusive clients.
We are the luxury travel advisor's right hand. How?
  • UJV is a team of travel experts that advises and supports luxury travel advisors worldwide.
  • We work behind the scenes as allies of top luxury travel advisors, to offer a 5 Star experience for their clients.
  • We offer travel advisors the knowledge and tools needed to grow their business and better serve their exclusive clients.
  • We offer an experience-centered service based on passion, expertise, integrity
  • and attention to detail.
  • We are willing to do the hard work in order to see our clients shine.

Role Mission
Most people who become top-producing luxury travel specialists don't start there-they build the knowledge, instincts, and sales skills over time. The Fora Specialist - Tropics role is designed to be that starting point.
You'll work with Fora travel advisors who submit luxury travel inquiries through the UJV platform across the Caribbean, Mexico, and select destinations. Your responsibility is to claim inquiries from the queue, provide expert guidance throughout the booking journey, and deliver such an outstanding experience that advisors specifically request to work with you again.
This is a queue-based environment, meaning you won't inherit a portfolio of accounts-you'll build your own reputation through responsiveness, expertise, attention to detail, and exceptional service. Your growth in this role is determined by the value you consistently deliver.
Responsibilities
Work the Queue
  • Claim incoming travel inquiries and bookings through the UJV platform.
  • Take full ownership of every booking from inquiry through completion.
  • Respond quickly while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Deliver a seamless experience that encourages repeat business from Fora advisors.

Pre-Sale Consultation
  • Guide Fora advisors during the research and planning stages.
  • Recommend destinations, resorts, and luxury properties based on client needs.
  • Develop expertise across the Caribbean, Mexico, and UJV's preferred partners.
  • Help advisors confidently move inquiries toward confirmed bookings.

Post-Booking Servicing
  • Manage itinerary updates, booking modifications, room changes, and operational requests.
  • Ensure every reservation remains accurate throughout the booking lifecycle.
  • Maintain proactive communication with advisors regarding any updates or changes.
  • Deliver exceptional service before client departure.

Concierge Coordination
  • Coordinate value-added travel experiences including transfers, excursions, dining reservations, spa appointments, and other itinerary enhancements.
  • Personalize each itinerary to create memorable luxury experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate every booking beyond accommodations alone.

Quality Control
  • Perform detailed quality assurance checks before itineraries are finalized.
  • Verify accommodations, transfers, dining reservations, and additional services.
  • Ensure accuracy across every booking component before advisor delivery.
  • Maintain UJV's luxury service standards throughout the booking process.

Build Long-Term Relationships
  • Deliver consistent service that encourages advisors to seek you out for future bookings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up activities.
  • Treat every interaction as an opportunity to strengthen advisor relationships and build trust.
Qualifications
  • Passion for luxury travel and a genuine interest in Caribbean and Mexico destinations.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, travel, or a client-facing role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, queue-based environment.
  • Coachable mindset with a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
What You'll Learn
We provide comprehensive training to help you build a successful career in luxury travel. Throughout your journey, you'll develop expertise in:
  • Caribbean and Mexico luxury hotels, destinations, seasonality, and product positioning.
  • B2B luxury travel sales and the Fora advisor ecosystem.
  • The complete booking lifecycle-from inquiry to post-booking servicing.
  • CRM best practices and professional pipeline management.
  • Luxury client consultation and destination matching.
  • UJV's standards for service excellence, quality control, and luxury travel execution.
Who You Are
  • You're ambitious and excited to grow your career in luxury travel.
  • You enjoy building relationships and naturally earn people's trust through your communication and responsiveness.
  • You love learning, embrace feedback, and continuously look for ways to improve.
  • You understand that attention to detail isn't just important-it's essential when creating exceptional travel experiences.
  • You're energized by a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities with confidence, and take pride in delivering outstanding service.
  • Most importantly, you genuinely love travel and are excited to become an expert in the destinations and experiences UJV offers.
Why You'll Love This Role
  • This is more than an entry-level position-it's the foundation for a long-term career in luxury travel sales.
  • You'll receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced travel professionals, and develop the expertise needed to build lasting relationships with luxury travel advisors.
  • Your success is based on the reputation you build, the knowledge you develop, and the exceptional experiences you help create for travelers around the world.
  • If you're passionate about travel, motivated to learn, and ready to grow within a high-performance team, we'd love to meet you.
