Epitec is seeking to hire a Quality Process Engineer to support a major U.S. automotive manufacturer. This role focuses on process improvement, quality assurance, and manufacturing optimization within a plant environment. You will collaborate with production teams, engineers, and quality leaders to ensure compliance with quality systems and drive continuous improvement.

Location: Brook Park, OH (Fully Onsite)
Shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM
W2 Contract: Long-Term
Pay Range: Market Rate

Work Environment: Fully Onsite
Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce Quality Operating System (QOS) and Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) compliance
  • Update Dynamic Control Plans (DCP) and PFMEA documentation, including SC/CC
  • Maintain document retention within FEDE (Ford Engineering Design Environment)
  • Support and update processes using FAP/PTP procedures
  • Ensure gage R&R compliance, gage survey readiness, and plant quality documentation
  • Conduct monthly DCP review meetings and track action items
  • Support Manage the Change (MTC) process and implement updates
  • Update FMA Health Charts and track performance improvements
  • Work cross-functionally with Process Engineers, VRT teams, and plant leadership
  • Provide coaching and guidance to both hourly and salaried employees
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma + 2+ years of Manufacturing or Quality experience
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Manufacturing Processes
    • Quality Assurance Concepts & Standards
  • Proven ability to:
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Communicate effectively across all levels
    • Work in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related)
  • Experience with:
    • Process Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering
    • Microsoft Applications
    • FEDE, MTC, FAP/PTP procedures
  • Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
