Position Description: JOB SUMMARY
The role of the Quality Technician is to help ensure that excellent product quality is delivered to Mossberg & Company customers.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All duties and requirements are essential job functions unless otherwise indicated.
Review, Inspection, Measurement, Record Keeping
Review job ticket for accuracy
Review quality records for accuracy Perform final product inspection Scan supporting documentation
Create customer required paperwork and submit as required
Enter inventory and tag product as required. Interact with both front office and production to clarify expectations & detail Escalate discrepancies to the Quality Manager and others as appropriate
Assist in real-time problem solving ongoing as issues arise Update and maintain quality samples
Escalate discrepancies and assist in resolution Train and obtain sign-offs for employees with carton stamps, maintain records Assist Quality Manager with special projects as requested
Review, inspect, sort nonconforming material if required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate / GED
Manufacturing Experience Preferred
Quality Experience Preferred
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Able to use measuring devices
Able to accurately complete paperwork and data entry
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job tickets, specifications and other printed materials
Strong attention to detail
Task oriented, results focused
Able to discern time sensitive priorities
Able to work independently as well as take direction
Able to communicate well and get along with others
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between Mossberg & Companys two locations if required
EQUIPMENT USED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects (computer and machinery); and talk or hear.
Frequently required to walk.
Required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Routinely lifts and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, and color discernment.
Ability to stand and walk majority of the shift.
The noise level in the work environment is high.
