Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage Internal Audit schedule to ensure IATF requirements are implemented and working as intended for plant Quality Management System
  • Integrate IATF, Internal and Customer Specific Requirements into plant procedures and QMS
  • Work with and support Corporate Quality Systems to drive continual improvement items into plant systems
  • Coordinate and manage internal Layered Process audit Schedule and findings through closure
  • Oversee document control for plant
  • Support internal plant Management of Change process and deviations
  • Ensure plant deviations, Plant Quality Alerts are renewed or closed as needed
  • Support management review for Quality Systems related items
  • Support / drive corrective actions and follow up review for IATF Internal / Registrar Audit findings
  • Support Customer audits (Ford Manufacturing Site Assessment, yearly control plan audits, etc.,)

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive quality systems
  • Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949
  • Experience leading internal and external audits
  • Proficiency in corrective action methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)
  • IATF 16949 Internal or Lead Auditor certification
  • Experience with customer-specific requirements (OEM or Tier 1 – Ford, Stellantis)
  • Familiarity with and or trained in AIAG Core Tools - APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans
  • Experience with electronic QMS or document control systems
  • Experience with creating process turtles
