Paslin is seeking a QMS & Audit Specialist to support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS). In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements while supporting the organization's efforts related to ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 standards.

This role executes document control, coordinates and conducts internal audits, supports external registrar audits, and administers compliance records and corrective/preventive actions. You will collaborate with teams throughout the company to maintain certification readiness and help strengthen our culture of quality and operational excellence. This position is ideal for a quality professional who enjoys leading process consistency across an organization.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant quality standards. Familiar with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, ASQ certification or college degree in Quality Engineering preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Details about the role:

Work location: Shelby Township, MI

Expected hours of work: This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business. Hours of work are flexible around core business hours of 6:00am -4:30pm

Travel: This position requires regular local travel between company sites. The employee must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Direct Reports: This position does not have direct reports.

Physical Demands: This role is performed primarily in a professional office setting within a manufacturing site. Requires extended periods of sitting and working at a computer for up to two hours between breaks. Frequent use of standard office equipment including PC/Laptop, computer mouse and keyboard. Visual and mental focus is needed for reviewing detailed information. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
