Overview
I'm working with a well-established, family-owned national Design-Build contractor that is seeking a Quality Control Manager (QCM) for a high-profile federal project at Lemoore Naval Air Station supporting barracks renovations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned QC professional who thrives in vertical construction and wants to be part of mission-critical military infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing:
  • Leading all project quality control activities from start to closeout
  • Managing USACE Three Phases of Control (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up)
  • Overseeing submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
  • Ensuring strict compliance with EM 385-1-1 and project specifications
  • Partnering with site safety to maintain compliance and execution standards

What they're looking for:
  • 5+ years in construction roles (QC Manager, Superintendent, PM, etc.)
  • 4+ years specifically in a QC Manager capacity
  • Strong background in vertical construction (federal/DoD preferred)
  • Current CQM for Contractors certification (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Experience with EM 385-1-1 standards and federal project delivery

Nice to have:
  • Experience on multi-unit housing or large-scale federal/DoD projects
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar document control systems
