Join our Team as Quality Control!

Position Summary:

Quality Control is responsible for ensuring that all printed products meet our high standards of quality and compliance with customer specifications. You will play a vital role in monitoring the production process, performing inspections, and conducting tests on finished labels to identify any defects or issues.

As a Quality Control, your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will help uphold our reputation for delivering high-quality labels. You will collaborate closely with production teams to implement quality assurance measures and continuously improve processes, ensuring that we meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect finished labels for quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Perform in-process quality checks throughout the production process, identifying and addressing defects as they occur.
  • Reject finished products, as necessary.
  • Quarantine nonconforming products and advise Quality and Production Manager for disposition.
  • Conduct tests on materials and printed products, documenting findings and generating inspection reports.
  • Document and control quality findings and data in electronic records.
  • Participate in the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) inspection function.
  • Collaborate with production staff to communicate quality issues and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to provide feedback to other departments.
  • Assist Quality and Production Managers to investigate customer complaints.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
  • Participate in training sessions for production staff on quality control practices and standards.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices related to quality control in the printing industry.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the printing industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality control role is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess quality issues effectively.
